Storage Space allocated in DB System in OCI
OCI DB Systems (both VM and BM shapes) use ASM by default. So, the space selected during instance creation is allocated to ASM. You can check the details by executing "asmcmd lsdg" command as "grid" user
When the DB system is created the space given during creation is used to create the 2 DISK group.
DATA-->Available Data Storage -256GB
RECO--> Recovery area Storage -256GB
If we want to create a file system for a DB system then, we can use ACFS file system and use it as required.
