Concurrent Processing Steps To Shut Down The Concurrent Managers Only On A Secondary Node in Oracle EBS
To shut down all services on just one node, including any concurrent managers running just on that node.
This would typically be the script "adstpall.sh" - however this script calls adcmctl.sh which stops concurrent managers on ALL nodes.
Solution:
For to Oracle Applications Manager (OAM) under System Administrator responsibility.
Users can take the secondary node offline, and force all concurrent processing requests to fail-over onto the primary node.
This will not prevent the remaining node from running its current jobs.
Steps to take a node offline :-
1. Login to Oracle Application Manager manager responsibility.
2. Click on desired node in '<Host>' column.
3. On the next screen, change the status to 'Offline' and click on 'Go'.
4. Confirm the status is changed to 'Offline'.
